Since so many poker players enter the WSOP Main Event, one of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world, the first day if the event has to be divided in four calendar days. Day 1a started with 1,000 players and finished with Dwyen Ringbauer as chip leader, with 191,125 chips. In second place we find Michael Mizrachi with 142,650 chips and in third place Barry Schulman with more than 100,000 in chips.
